I have been an Escapee for over 4 years and this is the first Escapee RV Park I have been able to stay at. Turkey Creek RV Village located in Hollister, Missouri is just two miles from the Branson strip which means it is a good location for those who want to visit the attractions of Branson.
I stayed about 6 weeks at the Escapee's RV Park, Turkey Creek RV Village. It is an older park with no paved roads but is built with a slight incline above and along side Turkey Creek. My site was only 50 or 75 yards from Turkey Creek. This incline keeps all runoff water gong down toward Turkey Creek and not turning the RV Park into a mud hole.
The lots are of average size. Room for most Motor Coaches with just enough room to park one vehicle. In my site I had to fudge it a little and park with a little of my rig on the streets edge. On the row I was on I was not the only one.
Each lot has a small cement patio with a picnic bench. Most lots have a grass lawn around the patio.
With Turkey Creek RV Village being an Escapee RV Park it has a little more of a community atmosphere than other RV Parks. Most if not every Saturday morning they had a come one come all breakfast in the Rock House. On Sunday evenings they had an Ice Cream Social. I enjoyed both of these which cost only a nominal fee. Occasionally, they had a barbecue lunch or dinner with hamburgers and hot dogs.
While I was there they were building a large new community building which will allow them to have more social occasions with even more attendance.
My only complaint with Turkey Creek RV Village was their WiFi internet connection. The WiFi service was the most unreliable internet connection I have had in 4 years of using WiFi service. Fortunately, I have alternative access via my Sprint Wireless service. In Branson it is not high speed but it is at least a reliable service.
I enjoyed my stay in Branson at the Turkey Creek RV Village an Escapee RV Park in Branson, Missouri. I strongly recommend all Escapee members who are visiting the Branson, Missouri area consider staying at the Turkey Creek RV Village.
