Now that I am here back in the Boise (actuall location Meridian), Idaho area I have begun to settle down into a sort of routine. As I have explained before in earlier schedule discussions I plan to spend the winter here and spend some time visiting with my family. I especially want to get to know my granddaughter Ellery who turns 3 on Christmas Eve.
Even though I have settled into a routine my mind is already working on where I will go next. My plan now is to stay here until about May or early June then I plan to move over to the Grand Ron Valley and La Grande, Oregon. I plan to spend next summer there. Then in the fall I will head back this way and spend the fall here in the Boise area.
Then in October 2008 or so I plan to head south and spend the winter in the Phoenix, Arizona area. Then in late winter I plan to head over to California and spend the spring in the Central Valley around Fresno. All of my living Aunts and Uncles and most of my cousins live in that area and I try to get there every few years. The last time I was there was in 2004 when I stayed 2 months.
Before it gets too hot and the arrival of summer I am going to start heading north and spend some time in Northern California near the ocean. Then on up into Oregon where I plan to stay most of the summer somewhere along the coast. In 2004 I spent the summer in Tilamook, Oregon and I really enjoyed that summer. I wore a sweat shirt all summer and loved it.
Then I will head on up into Washington for a month or so before heading back here to Boise. I plan to arrive here in late August of 2008. From then my schedule is uncertain, but will not remain that way too long.
Since I will not be doing much traveling over the next few months I will not be adding new posts here very often. I will try to add a new post every week or two. Most will be RV life style lesson's learned or some classic destination I have been to in the past. Could be those I visited here in the states or in one of the 38 countries I have visited in my life.
Stay tuned! Travels will begin again after I spend some time getting to know my granddaughter Ellery.
