Well it's been almost two months since I arrived in Denver and almost 10 months since I departed Boise, Idaho on this current adventure. My longest and farthest to date.
Tuesday I plan to head North into Wyoming and Idaho. Just exactly where I am not sure. My general plan is to take a couple of leisurely travel days stopping wherever I can find a nice place to stay and head in the general direction of Idaho Falls. From there I will go into a weekly mode.
While in Idaho Falls I want to head over to Jackson Hole, Wyoming and check out the availability of RV Parks. Popular tourist destinations like Jackson Hole can have a lot of people visiting and the RV Parks can sometime be at or near capacity. So I will use Idaho Falls as my home base and if during a scouting trip I find a good RV Park in Jackson Hole I will move over for a while.
I have been to Idaho Falls before back in the 1980's. My brother Jerry lived there and was the manager of the Big Bear Pizza Parlor (that is the name as I remember it) so I was in town to visit him.
I have never been to Jackson Hole, Wyoming so I look forward to visiting there as I have heard a lot about how beautiful it is there. Of course Wyoming like Idaho has been extra hot this year and I understand it is very dry there. Which will effect how green and pretty it looks.
My general plan after eastern Idaho and west Wyoming is to then head over to Boise sometime in mid September. Where I will stay the winter so I can spend some quality time with my son Ray and his family. I look forward to getting to know my granddaughter Ellery who turns 3 this Christmas Eve.
