I had planned my next Travel Diary entry to be my first report of my first impressions of La Grande, Oregon and the Grande Ronde Valley. That was going to be a few days from now. But when I got up this morning, much to my surprise I found it was snowing! Snowing in mid June! Has the weather gone nuts or what?

I went outside and took a couple of pictures. Below are a few of them.

I had an appointment in La Grande, Oregon at Legacy Ford to get my emergency break cable repaired so I went over there and had that done. Then I decided to see how the snow was in the foothills. I drove up the South Side of Cabbage Hill exactly 4 miles from where I am staying in La Grande, Oregon. Below are a couple of pictures I took from the side of Cabbage Hill.
